    Hi guys,
I'm looking for a download of Windows XP which I can install on my sister's PC. This time last year I purchased XP from studentoptions.com for something like 75euro but when I visited their site last night, they only had Vista available to buy. Does anyone know of a site were I purchased and download XP immediately?

    Any thoughts?

I was not aware you could have a digital download of windows as you would not have a license sticker... Other than from torrent sites etc. of course. :D

while corporate volume customers can download microsoft apps directly from microsoft
I'm fairly sure that end users can't download operating systems except BETA's

best bet is to borrow a CD
most places will deliver in a few days or you can head into town tomorrow

or download windows 2003 server 180 day trial

A bit of digging and it looks legit. There is a link to them on the Microsoft site as a recommended partner. They must have a special deal with Microsoft as i have not seen this anywhere else.
If it has to be XP the best thing to do is, as midnight said. Borrow a cd and install for now (without activating it).. you will have the 30 day trial. And buy a copy... maybe from Komplett or somewhere. The oem copy is about €85 last time i looked. Then when it arrives, use your key to activate it.

Long shot but some colleges are part of what is called the MSDNAA (Microsoft Developers Network Academic Alliance or something) and it gives you free downloads...

Me, cos i'm a CIT computing student, can use it, and Windows XP Professional is one of the things there to download, for free...

So maybe you're a student and lucky, if not, sorry...
