Golf Pix - C&C Welcome

    Hi

    I went out to Co. Louth Golf Club during the Home Internationals recently and took these shots - first time to cover and event.

    Gave the pix to the organisers and they loaded them to Flickr with my permission. Used a D70.

    O rly? I think it could be the next lolcats. :)

    I like the 2nd one the most.
    The 1st and 4th seem unfortunately timed IMO.

    I actually think the 1st and last and quite good.

    The last one there is cliched but is very good anyway.

    Had a look at the rest - some very good ones there!

    Oriel - you don't like partial colour desaturation? I think it can work well depending on the image...

    on topic - I like the third one - something you might see in a golf course/hotel magazine "come enjoy our lush greens" sort of thing ;) .

    The second one would have been great if the face wasn't partially obscured by the ball...

    The second & third ones are good.
    We don't get much golf photos around here.
    I'd imagine it takes a lot of patients!?
    Good work though.

    Copyright issues always give me a headache... I went to the flickr stream and every photo is (c) the GUI. Where you paid to take the photos?

    Or did you pay admission. If so, (I think) the copyright is yours since you took the photographs?

    i probably like the flickr stream better than those above! some nice stuff in there. very usable for marketing materials if that's the purpose (i noted the copyright gui notice) or just nice for your own recollection should that be as far as you go with it.

    LMAO @ thirdfox - eh.... how shall i put this.... em... nicely spotted ;o) it happens us all from time to time.

    as I said, i just gave them to the organisers.

    chuffed they put them up tbh. not much work of m ine gets published.

    I'm sure there is no issue with the copyright notice - probably standard stuff to protect them.
