recycle bin has vanished.

    Ok cleaning out some files there today while i was and i accidently hit the delete button on my recycle bin and now i cant seem to find it. I know its somewhere on my conputer though as whenever i delete a file it says do you want to send to reycle bin so i was just wondering if nyone had this problem before and knew how to fix it? O its vista ultimate by the way.

    I dont use vista but just found this on another forum
    Right click on the desktop > Personalize
    In the left pane click on "change desktop icons"
    check "recycle bin", and highlight "recycle bin empty"
    click apply and it should be back

    Do a 'Search' from your Start Menu.

    Did that didnt work but found out how to fix it just before the post above. Thanks though.

    Are you running Beryl too?

    That cube just blows me away, especially on a dual monitor setup.

    Not yet, only installed yest eve, gotta lot of figurin out 2 do 1st plus i'm havin probs with the nVidia accelerated graphics driver. My X-fi will not work on it either, no driver, so gotta use onboard sound :(

    But gotta say, its great 2 have an OS using only 127Mb of memory, unlike that hog vista :p
