Why bother when there are so many other vastly superior drinks available?

Darkey Kelly's Fishamble St. used to do it before the renovation, I'm not sure if they still serve it.

Lovely stuff IMO. Easy to swallow bucket loads of the stuff.

How about a Black and Tan - mix half pint each of Guinness and Smithwicks :p

I have to say, I prefer Kilkenny out of a can over draught.

    Even in Kilkenny.

It's not bad out of a can at all, just doesn't look great opening them at the bar :D

Ah now, Kilkenny is a fine drink, never to be sniffed at, especially on sticky days where stout would get a bit stale more quickly.

However, like Murphy's - which in perfect circumstances i actually prefer to Guinnes, yeah, sacrilige and all that, but each to his own - it's pretty hard to find a good pint in Dublin.

Another that definitely do it is Doyles. A solid pint. Surprising for them too. I've had soem legendary bad pints in there in my time
