    Hi folks,

Does anybody know if the 1.6 TDCi Focus from 2005 has a timing chain or belt and what would be the change interval on it? It is the same HDi engine found in Peugeot/Citroen/Volvo/Mazda.

Not sure about belt/chain issue but I can confirm it's the same unit as the HDI.

I owned 2 of them and they were good.

Looking at downsizing a little and checked one out today, a 2005 Ghia with 60k km on the clock.

Checked with the local dealer and they said the belt change interval is 150k miles or 10 years.
