Broken BMW KeyNut for alloys E34

    Hi,

I have a 95 BMW 520i E34 model. Just tried to remove the alloys using the locking key nut (which was missing 1 of 3 pins) and the whole keynut is now knackered.

What is my best option, obviously a replacement keynut would be great to avoid having to break the nuts off and buy replacements.

    Thanks in advance.

I have a spare if you're ever in Cork

Can you get the car to a dealer who can then find out your keynut code?
If necessary, there are some sockets that you can get that will fit onto the locknut. I can't remember the name of them. Otherwise, weld a socket onto your locknut and get it off that way.

    Update:

Went to Frank Kenna's BMW dealership but found out quickly it was not a BMW Locknut.

Ordered a replacement set for about €50. Should have them on Friday.

Got the "originals" broken off by Confey Motors in Leixlip.
