Considering that this brave and dedicated bunch of athletes picked up somewhere in the region of 100,000 medals over at the games in China there recently...Is it just me or should we consider sending them back when the other games start next year in Beijing-As it stands, We'll be lucky to thieve a bronze with our 'supposed' elite bunch...

Nah seriously...It might be time to admit that we're not that good at sprinting or javelin throwing or equestrian activity without illegal stimulants is all-methinks we'd gain more respect from the world by sending our triumphant Special team back, nothing sinister in that...Jimmy Saville to hold the tricolour though

it wouldnt be possible, really. rita lawlor lives a few doors up from me (she is on the special olympics commitee and slightly disabled herself) and would love to compete at the highest level, unfortunetely hers and others disability means they cant do that. nevertheless we should be proud of the commitment and performances they put in in light of slight>serious disability.
