    Hey guys and gals,

The girlfriend and myself are planning in heading over to Orlando, Florida for 3 months at the end of November on the holiday Visa. Does anybody know of a good site to find apartment rental for a period of around 3 months that only has one bed and is cheap. There are loads of ones with 4 or 5 beds but we just want something small and cheap. Also whats the chances of getting off the books work while over there for the 3 months???
We have been there on holidays before and would love to stay for a few months but need to be working over there to afford it.
    Any suggestions???

Any advice? Any one? Not even on Orlando just on short term work in America? Can it be done?

Orlando starts to pick up around mid December and is then fairly quiet enough in January and February. So not the best times to be looking for "into the hand" jobs. Which you'd only really find in Irish bars or construction sites.

You can try craigslist for apartments. A lot of apartment owners prefer renting on a longer term than 3 months. And many will look for last months rent up front. Subletting might be a lot better.

And you'd wanna make sure you have a car while over there. Orlando as is much of Florida, is quite difficult to get around using public transport.
