Hope i'm in the right forum. I'd like to be able to record a song or too off youtube so I can play them in my class to my students. I don't know how to do this and I don't even know if it's legal.

I do not want to make copies and sell them all over Limerick, just play songs in my ESOL class.

    Please help.

Well... its both easy and hard.
You can either record it as a wav file, simply setting the recording device to "wave" or hook up a tape recorder and do it the old fashion way.
Recording to wav will allow you to burn on to CD and play in a cd player.

Of course the easiest thing to do is just play it direct from youtube in your class if you have net access, or download the video/song. Google "download youtube video"

I also find http://www.splandoo.com/ really good. It allows you to download the videos and has a link to download a video player for them
