wi-fi card question?

    I bought recently Dell Vostro 1400 and i noticed a problem with my Wi-fi card. sometime my wi-fi card can't pick any signal, but if i reboot computer it start's working like normal again. is this is normal or do i some how keep disabling it. :confused:

    Make sure the wireless is and also check for problems in the device manager under Network Adapters, after that if the laptop is still in warranty, contact Dell.

    It definitely sounds like a possible problem with the adapter itself. I would first try reinstalling the drivers, but if that doesn't work, it would seem a part replacement is in order.

    Since I am a Dell representative, if this hasn't been taken care of yet, I would be glad to help. Let me know...

    make sure that theres nothing in the dreadful DEll Quickset that could be affecting it...

    Well since i posted this post my wi-fi start working perfectly... maybe i was just doing something wrong, but if problem repeats i'll contact dell about it...
