Very cheap LCD TVs on Ebay...Dodgy or not?

The prices on these LCDs seem a bit too good to be true.

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/Samsung-LE37R87BDX-LCD-37-16-9-Hd-Ready_W0QQitemZ280163981865QQihZ018QQcategoryZ3320QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

For example, the Samsung LE37R87BDX is listed at €673. It's €1199 in currys and PC world, and €950 on Komplett. It's a very tempting offer but I want to make sure it's genuine before I part with my cash.

The seller has 100% positive feedback rating from 137 sales, I'm new to Ebay so I'm unsure if these ratings are reliable or if they can be maipulated by the seller somehow?

Also it seems he only accepts Postal Order, Bank Draft or Electronic Transfer...No paypal...Is this a bad sign?

The thing that would turn me off this purchase is no paypal!

Me too. Shame because those prices are amazing (if he's genuine). He gets lots of positive feedback but like I say I'm new to ebay and am unsure how reliable the feedback system they use is.

All the payment methods are non reversible so I'd say if its too good to be true, it is my friend!

just because he doesnt take paypal, doesnt mean its not genuine
generally manipulated feedbacks are easy to spot , especially for chinese scammers
but in this case.. 137 seem quite a lot, so to me he seems genuine
you could ask for pics of the actual item with his nickname next to it just to confirm or ask if you could collect it and see what he says

The new feedback system should show the title and price of the item that was bought, so even when the item expires you can check that the positive feedback wasn't for a load of 1 cent items purchased or sold just to bump up the rating. Check out a few of the buyers who left the positive feedback to check that they don't seem like shill accounts.

I like using Paypal, but there do seem to be a lot of sellers who have genuine grievances with them, so it doesn't seem entirely unreasonable that a seller doesn't use them.
