Just reading over at The Register that a consequence of the Apple / Orange France agreement is that the sales of the iPhones will fall under French Law.

One of the delightfully consumer-centric french laws is that Network Providers are legally prohibited from selling handsets which are locked to any one network.

Pre-xmas trip to Paris anyone? Cheap wine and iPhones!?!

    ;)
