NTL Telephony billing

    Ever since I signed up for NTL's telephone service I've been charged €9.99 per month. It should be free for the first six months and €4.02 thereafter. I'm sick and tired of trying to get NTL customer support to correct it. I get the refunds but the mis-charged bills keep coming.
    If anyone else here availed of the triple-play offer, would you kindly check your bill and let me know what it says under "Subscriptions: Digital Telephony - Basic". The last customer support guy I spoke to said that all bills are sent like that - a charge of €9.99 and, at the end of the bill, an adjustment of €-9.99. It's not on mine, never has been.

    Might be worth calling them again and requesting to speak to a supervisor in order to resolve this issue,

    They messed up mine at first by charging be 15.00 (!?) but it appears to be sorted now after 2 phone calls.

    My bill now appears like:

    Subscriptions:
    Telephony
    Digital Telephony-Basic (+8.26 ex vat) +9.99

    Savings and Discounts:
    Cross Services:
    6 Mth Promo: TV/Broadband/Phone (-8.26 ex vat) -9.99

    Thanks guys. At last I got in touch with someone at NTL who seemed to know what they were doing. They've admitted their mistake and are giving me an extra 6 months free. Result!
