    hey there,
im a rat keeper who has baby rats to be re-homed, they are sooooooooo cute, if you want any info email me on AUDREY.GENOCKEY@nuim.ie or phone or text on 0863759958 they are going fast so be quick. i give full health history, any after care wanted- as in info, links, support etc..., and have hand socialised these kittens myself. Please people do NOT buy from the petshops! those rats have NOT been socialised and need rat keepers who are well informed on how to look after rescue rats. Just because they look sad doesnt mean you have the knowledge to unwind the cruel start in life they have had, plus any good breeder of rats will NOT sell them they will re-home (unless they are a show breed). Go on open your mind! :p

Rats are great, I've never had one, but I've handled them.

I wouldn't keep one at the moment tho, I'm sharing a bedsit with snakes and the smell of the rat would get to my boa constrictors and because of the smell they'd think they were being fed whenever I opened the door and I'd end up with two 3ft boas attached to my hand. The smell of defrosted mice makes them excited enough, I dread to think the state they'd be in if they smelt a live rat.

My mother hates rats so that would be a great incentive to get them as pets in the future when I have a place with more room. They'd be in a different room from the snakes tho!

I've kept rodents in the past, we had guinea pigs, they had babies, cute gorgeous little things. They're slightly larger than a hamster when they're born and they're all hairy and running around soon after birth!

Ive actaully 2 at the moment...had hamsters , guinea pigs...etc in the past and they are by far the nicest and friendliest pet out of them all...far too smat for their own good too! they love cuddles and genuinely love people. There real clean too... Only drawback is they need a large cage to live in...
