Ok here is my predicament (pardon spelling(if it is incorrect)):
I entered a text in competition on airsoft-warrior.com. It cost me £1.50 plus standard charge (no biggy).
This was over 2 months ago, and i have still recieved nutta(biggy)

    I have 3 concerns:
    1) Will I ever get my stuff? (what do you think?)
    2) What is up with that?
    3) Is it still legal for me to get my stuff concidering the VCR act?

1 question , did you read the competion rules small print, being a uk based site chances are the competion was only open to uk residents only ,if there not answereing any email or other contacts , chances are no prize for ya,
in future id go else where

I am a UK resident lol.
I have had the odd email from them but it doesnt seem to be getting anywhere.

if you genuinely won a competition, then you are entitled to your prize, if direct communication with the company fails, then contact the consumer affairs department

with regard to the vcra, you need to be a registered skirmisher in the uk, but better advice on that can be found in the vcra forum over at arnie's

Yeh the skirmishing think I know. but the thing is i won the competition before it came out. thus if they had shipped me the prize instantly then there would have been nothing anyone could have done. The VRCA doesnt affect sirsoft weapons that are already owned.

ah, but do you legally own it when you've won the competition, or when they give it to you? i'd imagine it's the latter

perhaps, but the fact remains if I had receieved the prizes quickly and before the vrca then they would still have been mine would they not.

well any orders placed prior to the 1st of october where outside the affects of the VCRA even if delivery/processing happened well after. This would probably fall udner that system.

Afaik the UK government have an online system where you can file a small claims court summons against companies. I think it costs 15 sterling, thats probably your best bet. Have proof you won the competition.

from a thread i read on arnies the other day, it doesnt matter when it was shipped, it's when it arrives in the country
