Experienced Musicians Wanted (read me)

Hi all.

I'm looking for experienced musicians looking to start a new outfit.

Ideally i'm looking for multi-instrumentalist who are comfortable with some singing making the dynamic of the band very interesting as we could swap around a bit as appropriate.

I play guitar/bass, synth and muck about on drums a bit as well as being competant with looping software.


the kind of sound i'm after is a electronic rock. think soundgarden-esque grungy guitars, peter hook style bass, programmed drums and some synth thrown is to fatten it out.



i'm based in dublin city and am 21

gigging experience desirable.

no samples as of yet but i have tracks from my old band i can send if interested.

NO EGO's

no timewasters.

Read my ad, I got a singer and some material done, you can always come and listen to it at any time, but I am in Portlaoise, that's the problem, but again, if you see the big picture, would you travel knowing that you are with the right people?

portlaoise is too far out for me i'm afraid.
also, i'm looking to start something from the ground up rather than attempt to slot into an existing outfit.

hey,just read your post and it sounds interesting,im steve and im 23,ive just left a band that were doing quite well,we came second in the jack daniels new bands,were gonna be on a saturday morning music show and are releasing a demo this month.
sounds great and all,but under the surface of the band lay childish games of control, childish people taking their ball and going home.to cut a long story short i understand the politcal struggles of a band and how peoples ego can really suck the fun and life out of something.
so,in response to your post,i have quite abit of gigging experience,im not ego drivin,but i am goal orientated which means if im going to dedicate time to something,il push hard to bring it to the next level,i play bass,drums,guitar and im also interested in making some backing tracks etc,im quite familiar with reason,peter hook is one of my heroes,im playing mostly bass at the moment,im into various generes of music but the ones that might be relevent to this endeavour are,blonde redhead,MSTRKRFT,new order,leftfield,battles,death from above,dj shadow etc etc.
im from mullingar but drive so transport wouldnt be a problem,i have a good few ideas songwise floating around at the moment.
well,thats all i can think to say right now,if it was slightly incoherent,apologies,im running on 2 hours sleep,if your interested and want to talk some more my mobile is *** *******,.cheers
