Hi-Cap mag wont wind

The stock mag that came with my CA AUG this morning wont wind!
I feel the springs tighten but no clicks. Its like there is
a ratchet that is supposed to lock the winder as you wind
to prevent unwind is not engaging.
(I have Zero experience with mag issues)

I dont have an allen key or star shaped tool that will fit to try
and disassemble it yet to take a look so may need to call in home
to my father that will have every tool under the sun.

Anyone know what might be wrong?

Fixed. There was a metal spring that was supposed to engage the
main winder wheel to prevent it from unwinding. This was simply out of place.
    Problem solved.

    glad you got it fixed,
high caps are annoying at the best of times, mid caps are mid caps are less hassel.

    Same mag is now FUBAR.

Had loads of other issues with it and ended up
stripping it down completely and trying to fix without any joy.
I had a separate thread asking for help with Zero replies.
I must post some pics and a few questions about Hi-Caps in the near
    future.

From now on only mid-caps for me. Hi-caps seem to be un-reliable.
