Hello, I am trying to find a graph tool that will take input from a table, generate a curve, smooth the curve and output to a file but ...... I have data in the X axis in 10 degree increments and I want to output new data in 1 degree increments.

And .... I want a free download trial (mainly because after 10 goes I now dont believe what the suppliers say about their products)

    thanks ...... Richard

Not entrely sure what you mean by output in 1 degree increments, but have you tried Excel? It can do all the things you require as far as i can remember...

Your memory is correct! In the chart wizard, if you select the "custom types" tab, one of the available chart types is smoothed lines.

Only problem that I can see is that the o/p has data on the x-axis in groups of 10, but from what I understand, he/she wants the software to interpolate between the points thus providing a smooth curve and then output those in-between values to a data file in unit values. Correct??

Have a look at "Autograph" - I use it at school and find it excellent.

Yeh that's what I thought the OP meant alright, but as far as I can remember again, Excel can do that - it gives you an equation that fits the data set - so any intermediate value of the graph can be found by plugging in the number to this equation...
