    Guys,

I have heard mario kart is coming out on the wii soon.

But i have also heard that you can download the old snes version on the wii channel or something?
I do not have the broadband set up on the wii. So i was wondering is there any other way to get this?

Ive heard its compatible with old gamecube games - is that true? Could i get mario kart for the game cube and play it on the wii???

Yes, you'll need the classic controller though.

You can play any gamecube game on the Wii with a gamecube controller - this means you will need to get the cube kart game - double dash. The only way to play the N64 version is by download and for that you need broadband.

The classic controller doesn't work with GC games.

Here is a chart for what controllers are compatible with which games on the Wii. To play GC stuff you'll need a GC controller and to save you'll need a GC memory card. They'll be pretty difficult to find in a shop so try online. You could also bring your Wii to the house of a friend who has wireless broadband. You could download virtual console games you want there.

I think your getting a bit mixed up mate, The wii plays gamecube games just like a gamecube, i.e you need a gc controller and maybe a memory card
As someone else already said they can be hard enough to find so all I can say is EBAY
