Last Three Minutes.

Saw a horse run in the 3:10pm at Leicester today, it was called Last Three Minutes. I had a bet on it at 16/1 and I think he finished just out of the money in 4th. He ran an outstanding race, very green towards the end and I really think he's one for the notebooks, he's owned by Alex Ferguson's syndicate and I'll be keeping a close eye on him to see when he's running next because he looked like that run would bring him on an awful lot. Anyone else notice the same?

    Apparently not!

Caught the race there on attherace.co.uk

Looked like a good run but obviously lacking any sort of fitness as just wilted when it went in front 1.5 out. Probably could have been placed if Fortune pushed it a bit harder in the last 50 yards.

Putting this one into the tracker but wouldn't be surprised not to see if again until next year.

How do you put it into the tracker?

Use the one at www.gg.com, it's much better than the irish racing one. It allows you put some comments in about the race.

He ran and won today (5/2) at Yarmouth (opened 7/2), quite impressive too after a 279 day absence. I tried to post it up this morning but the site was down. Really looks like one to follow.

Oh I was watching that race, thats Fergies nag isn't it? He came home impressively,

Won very well indeed. By 4 lengths or more under a very confident ride by Queally.

But I'm not certain that he may be one to follow. This was a poor quality race -- a Class 6 Auction Maiden. The unraced Gosden horse Lion Gate looked like a pig in the parade ring -- not ready for the race at all; and the other jt-fav Seventh Cavalry ( finished second) never did much in four previous starts ...... never better than 3rd in similar maidens..

He could only beat what was put in front of him today, and the form of his first run in the Leicester maiden last year is working out really well. I'll certainly be following him anyway.

Was scratching my head as to why I had it in my tracker when I got the email.

    At least now I know!

Naming the horse after his most memorable moment in his football career. This horse must be one of his best!!!!!

Definatly one to folllow. Beat second by six lengths and beat third by 11 lengths. Thats very impressive even if it was a class 6 race.

Just noticed he's running in the 4.30 at Ascot today, Frankies on him at 14/1.

Prolly after costing boards a few euro now after this :o

Bump! He runs tomorrow, its a big step up in grade and ultra competitive and doubt he'll feature unless he really is progressing hand over fist into Class 2 company.

edit finished 3rd which is decent showing, maybe he is one to keep an eye on this summer.

He's one of those horses that need luck in running...dont know if the jockey gave it the best ride. a 1f/2f step should help.

Indeed, he came up on the tracker yesterday. If Charger (4.20) wins I'll back him with the proceeds.

He ran well the last day in york but i`m not sure whether Richard Hills is the type of jockey to suit this horse. As we seen the last day hes not the best playing the waiting game on a nag...

Agree with that all right, not a great fan of Hills on horses, let alone hold up ones.

Didnt think a step back 1f would suit either, thought 1m 2f would suit this horse best. There is a nice handicap in the horse, but the value has gone on him at the minute, as seen today 3/1 was very tight.

You got that spot on anyway. I don't think he would have won, but jesus Hills was shocking on him. To get boxed in at one of the widest tracks in England is terrible, imo.

He could easily have given him cover, yet still kept him a bit wider so he could come around horses, rather than through the pack.

And yes, i am talking through my pockets, but not that much.

Runs on Friday in Ascot @ 5pm in a 1m 2f. Hughes on board. Running of an interesting weight of 8-13, so this along with the extra 2f might help.

On another note can't say I'm a big fan of these two day final declarations with the weather the way it is. The change in ground over the 48 hours is throwing up some brutal cards for each way backers.

Well I think he might now be running at his best trip.

A different jockey booked also should help.

5/2 atm with paddy power at this early stage, quite short, not taken much chance.

william blake 11-2 from oening show of 7-1;)

15/8 f finished 6th. Knew that was one to avoid. He is one of those nags, nearly impossible to catch right. Still he'll prolly be dropped in class and will hose up at 4/1 next time.
