    Hi

Long term boards.ie member and I'm going unreggie for this. I'm not going to go into the specifics because there are people on boards who will recognise me.

I'm looking for information on counselling/therapy services in the Dundrum/Ballinteer area (and areas surrounding) because I've come to see that I need help with a lot of relationship issues I've been holding back for a long time.

I plan on contacting my GP as well, but I'd like to have an idea before I speak with him. I have no idea where to begin with this.

I'm sorry I don't have any info on that area, but for what it is worth I currently go to group therapy and it has saved my sanity, so it is really worth going for whether a group situation or a one on one, so I wish you the best of luck in it.

Thanks for the information guys. Much appreciated. As fortune would have it the mother of a friend of mine from college is a counsellor, and whilst she would not be impartial as she has met me before, she shall be able to put me in contact with other counsellors.

I need to get more details so I'm not terribly up on details. I'll let you know more when I know more and how it's all going. I feel ok knowing that I need to speak to someone now. Like I'm back in control and have something to work towards.
