That took a lot of effort :D

Now I am wondering about this myself - I recall that there was a proposal some time ago that this info would form part of a planning application (God only knows why) but then again there was a proposal some time ago too by the DoE that applicants for permission would have to submit their PPS no. on the application form . Thankfully that idea was battered out of their little heads.

At the moment smashey is correct with that long winded answer (at least with Donegal Co. Council) as the HER wont be effective until January. Im just wondering what is the requirement to be then. Anyone got any info on this?

It was a question on the form when I applied for permission to Roscommon coco a few years ago.

As it was I put down Ground-source heat pump and installed oil (short term & backup heating)

If I specific geothermal on the planning application, am I locked into using geothermal by the coco?
