Manufactured stone & timber windows

Our planning permission stipulates that stone used must be "local natural stone" and elevations have a notation indicating "double glazed timber windows".

Is it permissable to use manufactured stone - what I am looking at is practically impossible to tell apart from natural stone.

How restrictive is the "timber window notation". Can one use timber windows with an external weatherproof cladding or how about painted timber windows or wood effect PVC?

On the stone, you can use manufactures stone, they will not check this. Still a big differenence between the appearance between manufactured and natural stone, the more you look at it, the more you will see the difference.
    Price both too.

The windows I am not sure, but I think you have to put in timber if they say timber. It could be an issue with complying with the planning sign off by your engineer. Speak to them also
