I am on the verge of buying a super vigorelli track frame by mercian, does anyone out there have any experience with them? I will being doing some track work but primarily I was thinking of using it as my everyday bike cause my previous frame buckled, will it withstand the rough dublin streets? cheers in advance

    Hi

I've no idea, but as the owner of a old but good Mercian reynolds 653 frame, I think any good quality, handbuilt steel frame will withstand normal street abuse, but like anything, avoiding the potholes where you can will help.

It would be worth asking Mercian if the bike would be suitable for that usage. They may recommend some changes to the custom options based on your needs.
