Skype on Three

Has anyone managed to get Skype working on Three X-Series?

The Three client seems to connect to the list of users that are online in my contact list OK, although it seems slightly out of sync with the same list on the PC and who's online at that moment, but I'm unable to actually make a call yet. On trying to make a call it either comes up with an error about not being able to use Skype whilst roaming or it sometimes makes a Skype call to a +44??? number where a Skype recorded message says that they were unable to connect me.

I've also tried using Fring and was able to make a Skype out call, although I didn't answer the land line to talk to myself it did ring, but Fring does not seem able to make Skype to Skype connections.

I had the same problem with skype with mobile broadband but when I switched to X-series it worked. It works really well now. I'd suggest getting X-series taken off and put back on again.

I've been messing around with it a bit more since and I'm still having trouble using the Three Skype client. Using Fring though I was able to make Skype - Skype calls OK now for some reason that wasn't working earlier and also you can use the text chat option with Fring as well, which you cannot with the official Skype client, so as long as that keeps on working I'll stick with Fring for now.
