Boundaries overstepped?

Hey there, first time user so be gentle. I would like to get opinions on the following:
The boundary wall dividing me and my neighbour(built over 10 years ago by the neighbour) was built approx 2-3 inches inside their boundaries. Less than a year ago, i got my back garden done top to bottom costing me €8K, now the neighbour (who is thinking of selling) wants to sort out her boundaries and wants to knock the existing wall and cut my beautiful expensive Indian Sandstone slabs. Any advise greatly appreciated.

As you say you are new here and unfortunately what you are looking for is advice but possibly of a legal nature. We cant comment on the legalities and while I could move this to the legal discussion forum they wont even comment on it there.

Talk to your neighbour and if necessary talk to a solicitor.
