I've always been the type of girl whos had to make the first move when it came to guys, They would never approach me, so it just became second nature to let a guy know I was interested, I'd always be the one to get his number, text him/ring him ask him out, yeah I got a few knock backs from time to time but tried not to let that bother me too much and move on.

Anyway lately guys seem to be approaching me and quite honestly I'm not handling it very well, Its just so odd to have a guy doing the chasing, I keep messing it up. A few months ago a friend made it blatently obvious that he had feelings for me and I just had no idea what to do, I just got really intimidated or something and messed things up, Its like I didn't know what was appropriate and instead of letting him know how I felt (which is what i wanted as i liked him too) i spent too long over analysing the situation and eventually he just thought i wasn't interested and moved on. I guess when It was me making the first move, if a guy responded it kinda boosted my confidence or something and it almost put the ball in his court so to speak in that after that it was easier to guage how he felt, I've probably stopped making sense now sorry!

The problem being that I've met a guy who I think I'm really falling for and well, he's done all the chasing, he's kissed me and its like now its up to me, I've started pushing him away because I can't deal with it, I don't know how to, We were out the other night and I had the perfect opportunity to kiss him, and I didn't because I was afraid of being rejected, or coming across all clingy, (i know this makes no sense). I just really like him and I don't want to screw things up this time. help?

Kiss him, tell him you fancy him, end of problem. Don't over think it, men usually don't.. It is actually that simple.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Dido. Ask him out for a trip to the cinema. You have two hours in the dark to make a move.

If this is all you have to worry about then well done you.

I'd say relax, stop over analysing things and just go out for a drink or something. Why make these things any more complicated than they have to be?

Hard to take seriously a man who can't spell Blanchardstown. Or who makes up new words.

Nothing wrong with the cinema of itself, but if you are tyring to let him know you really like him maybe its a bit soon.

Dinner or drinks, somewhere where you can be alone & talk but at the same time have small distractions to avoid it getting over intense or pressurised for you.

Just Relax n Be Yourself.. Stop stressing over it but if it does come up then just tell it as it is, you're not sure how to progress as you're usually in the driving seat!

and heck if thats ur only problem you're sorted!!

    Good Luck
