    Possibly over 7-8 months ago, for 2 weeks, it still has not been lifted

    It's your responsibility to PM the mod to ask for the ban to be lifted when the duration is up. Have you done that?

    but if you are banned, the forum you are banned from won't show up in that list iirc.

    Well what do you know, I never knew that. I just sort of assumed you'd still see it. Just couldn't access it when you clicked one it.

    Hmm.

    That's what I thought too.

    I know private fora don't show up in search if you don't have access (although they did briefly after the upgrade IIRC).

    I tried to log out from the forum because I was on a college computer, when I went home and went to the boards I was logged in so logging out doesn't always work

    See if you can see the forum, it should be the fourth one down on the Soc. page.

    Demonique, logging out on one PC will supersede the other, and you'll be left with an "outdated" page on the other one.

    That said, if you leave the "remember me" box checked after your last visit, you'll probably remain logged in.

    It's pretty much the same as having two tabs on your browser, and logging out (from any site) on one of them.
