Toilet Attendants

There are a couple of pubs I go to that "employ" a toilet attendant and it really puts me off a) going to the toilet and b) washing my hands after. I'm perfectly able to find a urinal and dry my hands on my own thank you .

I usually feel obliged to give them some money for a service I don't want and always refuse. That aside and most importantly I think its degrading - it is uaually a guy (nearly always coloured) waiting to hand you paper towels and fragrance and it makes me cringe.

I realise that people have to make a living and i've no problem with that but it seems like these guys are being used and frankly it disgusts me. Someone tell me I'm wrong (or right).

OP: There’s never an excuse not to wash your hands, unless of course you had no hands and in that case someone else would have to aid you in peeing and then they would be required to wash their hands!

I was actually going to start this thread a few weeks ago but figured it had been done and was too lazy to search.

My issue is not the fact that you feel obliged to pay for their services if you use them (deodorant, aftershave, chewing gum (in a jax EWW)) but its the little tricks they use to force you to have to use them like turning off the driers, removing the soap from free use and generally getting in your face when you trying to wash your hands.

I generally just pay €1-2 like the fool I am for the use of their tissue paper and complain under my breath on the way back to the bar.

Side topic: I'd say most guys aint affected by this as in my experience more than 50% of lads don't wash their hands after going to the toilet.

Its ok if you use/need something (lollipops ftw) but if not it's weird. I don't like it, and avoid them like chuggers if I can

I miss being able to pee in peace. What about poor people with performance anxiety?

    I've been pushing a petition
private companies pay by the signature
to put propositions on the California election ballet
    I only carry one

    Stop the governments(local and state)
    from using Eminent Domain
to force home owners off their land
to resell that land another private owner.
The property is taken either for government use or by delegation to third parties who will devote it to "public use." The most common uses of property taken by eminent domain are public utilities, highways, and railroads.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eminent_domain

Anyway, developers ask city governments in California
    to use Eminent Domain powers
to offer them choice land for non public projects.

    Now, I rent
so there is no stability in my home
I could be asked to move out at a months notice

So some smart citizens asks me whether or not I'm being paid by the signature
    when I replied yes
she refused to sign claiming I had no passion
    well
at least I have enough to speak the truth

If I use their aftershave I tip them. If I'm capable of washing and drying my hands myself I don't tip them. I don't know why people should feel obliged to pay other people money just because they watch you pee.
