    Hey

Just looking for some info on airlines plying these routes. All im looking for is a one way ticket but i dont want to pay an arm and a leg for it ie less than 1,000 euro im a shoe stringer and would preferably like not to go via the states but will if needs be. Im already on the road so cant do this from home.

Anywhere out of south america will be considered i would like to fly to india for christmas but if i cant make that any where in eastern asia from january onwords works for me.

Does anyone have tips on how to get bargains ive got time on my hands to work on this. If i turn up at an international airport and wait for a standby place do people actually do that? Any great travel agents i could talk to? Any websites i could join that do offers on short notice etc really desperate for this now.

Thanks in advance for your replies

Standby pretty much doesn't happen anymore due to security tightening.

TBH I'm not sure there are that many direct flights, so you'll probably have to go via somewhere.
