No not that one Garth but thanks for the quick reply, it's a Mexican beer. Incidentially what does Castlemaine go down like never tried it myself, xxx lager the Mexican one, is mother's milk. I am normally a guinness man, extra stout when drinking cans but this xxx comes a very close second.
Ah the memories stayed all-inclusive Moon palace (highly recommend), beer and a burger when ever you wanted :D, if only life was like that, would just love to taste that beer again .

You're wouldn't be thinking of Dos Equis by any chance?

    Like a whore.

Goes down quick and easy, but you regret it the next morning.

    :D

Funny story about Castlemaine Four Ex.

When I first moved into Sydney in Sept '05 I headed to the local Bottle Shop to get some beers.

I saw Castlemaine on sale, and it was really cheap, something like $8 for six bottles. I bought them and took them back to the apartment, sitting on the balcony, sun splitting the stones, and after the fourth bottle I noticed I wasn't getting any kind of buzz on.

I looked at the label, low and behold, it was Castlemaine Light. 2.5%

Strewth. I never made that mistake again.

The only Aussie beers worth even looking at, imo, are James Boags and the Coopers range.

Mucky enough, typical Ozzie lager, not too dissimilar from VB, Fosters, Carlon etc. Best avoided unless faced with Bud as an alternative.

I've seen Dos Equis in Irish off licences. Redmond's usually have it, I think.
