    Hey Guys,

Im gonna get a PSP slim. And I just found out that my Aunt is in the US until Tues. So I was thinking of getting her to get me a psp (Entertainment pack or whatever) and I was wondering ,Would there be any region or any other type of problems with that ? Like with having the psp over here ??

    Thanks,
    Barry.

That answer is a bit confusing! It could be read as: Games - not possible and movies - possible!

The games are region free (you can play any game anywhere) but the movies are not region free (but who cares about them anyway?!)

    I disagree as he asked
Would there be any region or any other type of problems with that ?

So I said no for games and yes for movies.

Games on the PSP are Region free and will work no matter where you buy them. Although online/multiplayer play may not work.

UMD Movies follow the same region coding a DVD's so you should not be able to watch European movies on American PSP's.

However I watched European Movies on my Japanest PSP-1000 with no problem. That was on v1.5 firmware tho.

Isn't Japan Region 2 for DVD's just like us? The only difference with DVD's is that they use NTSC where as most of Europe uses PAL (that would make no difference to the PSP though).
