Where's Vicent Brown. Have to admit he drove me crazy for years with his aggresive bullish confrontive way of talking to his 'guests', but he grew on me.I miss his show on rte of an evening, the alternative 'late debate' doesn't appeal at all, especially as they have relative newbies doing the slot.Is brown doing anything anywhere on radio.

I hear he will be coughing his guts up on TV3 in the am "soon".

Hope the install a spittoon for him.

Vinnie generally reserved the bullish stuff for the little people/backbenchers and the like.
The hard necks like Mary O'Rourke/Joe Higgins/ Michael D Higgins et al got the avuncular Vinnie.

Often felt inclined to text in and tell him to see a doctor, never did though, don't think he smoked either.Any truth do yis think in the 'rumour' that FF had him removed from RTE after his scalding of bertie at the famous press conference.
Actually only noticed when i heard it mentioned somewhere that no top brass in any party,(probably except the greens) would even consider going on his show.
    I wonder why:rolleyes:

Aye, 5th of November - he did a stint on Morning Ireland all week (just gone) to get some promotion/practice for the show.

Only saw a little of the first one and he certainly seemed a bit awkward on camera - would be interested to see how he'd settled in by the end of the week.

He was the same..awkward looking. But in fairness if I was sitting beside that stook of a presenter I'd look awkward. Which reminds me I must post a thread about Ireland AM or as I call it "adopt a dog am and have a glass of wine am"
