M.Acc & training contract abroad

    Hi everyone,

I'm a final year Intl Commerce student in UCD and hoping to do the M.Acc in Smurfit next year. However, I don't want to do my training contract in Ireland - I'm planning to apply to the Big 4 in London.

Does anyone have any advice about this? Would there be any point doing the M.Acc in terms of exemptions from the ICAEW exams? I would rather have a master's degree but I'm thinking I may need to give up the idea if it's not going to make a difference to me once I go abroad to train.

Thanks for any advice you can give.
