2 wireless routers?

Apologies if this is a stupid question but:

Is it possible to use two wireless routers on the same phoneline? The two rooms are a long distance apart with a lot of solid walls between them so the signal doesn't carry.

If not, is it possible to boost the wireless signal and is it practical?

Thanks

Yes it is.
Do a google search for WDS - Wireless Distribution System.
You'll usually need to get two the same brand, and the phone line only goes into one.
You'll still need to get the routers talking to each other over wireless.
A setting called "Lazy WDS" can make this automatic.
You'll probably have to put the second router between you and the DSL wireless router
rather than actually in the second room if your signal is that poor.
If you can get them above the solid walls, so much the better.

Not possible to run 2 dsl modems on the line no.

What you need is one DSL modem which has wifi (this is the box that yous service provide r gives you) and you just need a wireless access point which you can connect to the modem by an ethernet cable

 Yes & give both the same SSID & encrytpion key, but have different channels, therefore if ya move the lappy 2 another room it just uses a different channel
