D.I.D doing 5yr warranty's on Panny's

    Not sure if this a know thing but heard an Ad on the radio that DID are doing a five year warranty on panasonic LCD+Plasma tv's. IF its for parts and labour and not to many condtions it might be handy for someone

    Panasonic must be running that promotion again. Or maybe it never ended since it began (though it was supposed to end some weeks ago). IIRC the offer applies to all Panasonic flatscreens bought, but only from a "bricks n morter" authorised retailer (not applicable online).

    JVC are offering the same.

    was offered the five year warranty on 24th on panny TH42PZ70/E2000 at sherwoods in waterford city,told that it would be finishing that evening(sounded like a sales ploy) ps.same tv in dixons(england) E1240

    Accordign to the Panny website, the 5 year warranty did finish on Christmas Eve, so no sales ploy.

    was still offered the 5yr warranty yesterday so well worth asking about it could seal the deal

    Got 5 yr warranty today on a sale item. Shop had to backdate receipt to before 25.12.07 but that doesn't bother me.
