I have been wanting to see these guys for a few years but things always conspired against me anytime they were in Ireland.

But got to see them at Tripod last night, and they certainly live up to their reputation as one of the best live bands around.

I can't believe that a band like this isn't far more popular, considering the amount of dross out there in the music world today.

They have so much presence, and really put everything into their show. It was a great venue to see them in as well. And their female singer is destined for big things - she has a sensational voice.

If you ever get the chance to go see them, then GO SEE THEM. You won't regret it.

And on a final note, I had never heard of their support act REPUBLIC OF LOOSE before. They were great too, and I have spent today reading about them, listening to samples of the net, and ordering their 2 CDs!! They are gonna make it big too some day.

    Overall, a great night out.

Republic of Loose are pretty "big" in ireland already. Theyve played the main stage of certain large festivals before and their album was number one in the irish charts at some stage.

Naa, Republic of Loose are as big as they are ever going to be, I really don;t see them getting any bigger.

Gotta agree with you on the Alabama 3 though, havent seen them in person myself but I've watched a few live shows and the reports I've heard from their gigs have been amazing
