I know we have one member thats now resident in Vegas. I am attending a Wedding in Vegas next month and am thinking about purchasing a Flash unit (probably the 430ex). If I can pick it up in Vegas then I will. Anyone have recommendations for good camera stores over there?

    Give me a shout!

Casey's is definitely the place to go to. They're over near the airport on Tropicana and stock just about everything under the sun.

Ritz Camera should be avoided like the plague, for that all they have several outlets in convenient locations - they do not cater to pros, don't stock anything interesting and are horribly overpriced to boot.

Ditto with Sahara Cameras on Sahara and Eastern. They cater to pros, but they're really expensive and have shoddy service.

Avoid anywhere on the Strip, those are all run by Cashman and are looking to gouge you.

whilst they dont have many cameras, a trip to Frys Electronics in Las Vegas is worth the trip if you are into gadgets
