    Decide which you prefer....

It's an unusual pair to choose between because they aren't all that a like...

If you choose guitar, it doesn't mean you shouldn't exercise ever.

    Cheers Rigger,
Yeah they are different all right. I'd like to do well at one of them but which one? Thanks

Which do you like most...? Cant be that much of a decision. Cycling would be better in the long run health wise etc etc (Yet play the guitar and you'll get good at it...)

Cycling cos then you wont have to go to the gym as well as play the guitar - you will be getting your exercise and saving time....

TBH only you can decide this....

Biggest problem is finding the time to do both. I dont really prefer one over the other and no matter which one I choose I will regret stopping the other.

How on earth could either be too time consuming to balance with the other?

how the hell do you only have time for those two interests??

i work 9-5, after work i can usually go for a run, eat dinner, pick up the guitar and bash it out for an hour, read a bit, surf the net and go to bed,
at weekends i spend a few hours mountain biking, i come home, shower, eat, bash out guitar, read, go out drinking, eat a quarter pounder (with cheese) and still have time to stroll home before getting up the following day doing the same thing.
dont obsess yourself over one pasttime, you'll get bored and frustrated. what happens when it rains so much or too cold you cant go out cycling? what are ya gonna do? stare at the wall?

this is a pretty lame decision.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure

Maybe alternate? Do Guitar this week, cycling the next or something along those lines.

Can you not cycle to work or to your guitar lessons or just to the shop when you need something? That way you can do both.

Learn the guitar properly. Once that's done start cycling again.

Is this the internet equivalent of the boring priest in Father Ted ("whats your favourite humming sound" etc)?

    Pointless thread. IMHO, natch.
