    I like her(but then I am male btw;):D)

I had her last year for economic analysis tutorial. Seems a bit unsure what she is talking about at times but on the whole she seems fine. The course sounds good though. I wasnt planning on doing it(hence it not being on my timetable and not being able to find it anywhere:mad:) but I went on Wednesday and liked the sounds of it.

I just wish they would update the bloody timetable on the social and human sciences website:rolleyes::mad:

Spread the word.. it might ease the pressure on the International class.

    Cheers Zaraba:)

As for what courses I am doing I dont have a clue yet. My timetable has Theory, Securities markets, Financial markets and the corporate sector and financial reporting.

Problem is that would be a joint honors degree and last year the subjects I did meant I was pursuing single honor economics. Ive spent the whole week trying to find someone to get this sorted/see where I stand to no avail!

As I said I liked the sounds of the world economy so Im gonna try and do that and I am also seeing what the story is with applied finance(the third year course). Again nobody seems to be able to give me a solid answer wheter I can do this or not.

But at the moment I am as clueless as I was last May:(

    Drop Andrew Somerville an email.

He knows all when it comes to courses choices and he is easy to talk to.

But be warned! He will advise against a joint honours degree with da B school (for good reason!)

Really? Why is that Zaraba? Im not doing it btw to specifically get that degree. It just works out that way with the subjects I am interested in.

Just found out as well that world economy and financial markets clash:mad:

    I was being slightly cheeky.

However, I worked for a US management consultancy firm, and from chatting to friends and relatives in industry, they seem to prefer people with solid degrees that teach analytical and quantative skills (science, engineering, economics etc) as they will teach you the business element.
