Today FM - Breakfast Show 80s Themes

    this is just playing on mind, but a while back the today fm early morning show had themes to 80s TV shows.
    one of them was parodied on the start of a GIFT grub piece in the studio

    it goes something like -

    1) someone makes a statement like ("its raining outside!")
    2) then the main character comes in and says ("so if its raining outside, i am going to need an umbrella")
    3) then someone screams and the music starts.

    this is a strange request but what show are they mimicking, obviously the above dialogue is completely in accurate as to what they would say !!!

    As far as I know that's when they take the piss out of Horatio from CSI Miami

    Yeah its "Daniel" doing his impersonation of Horatio's cheesy one-liners at the start of CSI: Miami! The bit at the start where he says something deep whilst taking off his shades, and the theme tune kicks in.
