Look nice, solid wood.....not sure about the PUPS though!

Look cool though! Anyone know anything? Some decent artists as users!

I've heard they're ok. I was thinking about buying the Maranello Speedster before, pretty hot guitar. I think Trev Wilkinson may have a hand in these guitars, if I'm right thats a good thing. :)

Never heard of them before, and definetly not my kinda thing I'm afraid. I wouldn't worry about the pups though, they can be replaced to suit your taste. Most of my guitars have gone through pickup surgery.

These guitars are awesome! I own several, and each one has its own merits.
The guitars are all designed by Trev Wilkinson, and the Pickups are all Wilkinson Pickups. There would be no reason to change them out, as they are made specifically for the instruments that they are installed in. Trev's pickups are highly sought after. Check out the new Imola 6 string on the Musician's Friend website. it has what Italia calls "duplex" pickups. I guess you can seperate the treble and bass strings on all 3 pickups, and put them in any combination. Wow! I really want to try one, but don't have a dealer in my area.

By the way, I know that Tod Rundgren uses an Italia as his main guitar in The new Cars, The bass player in Styx uses an Imola Bass, and I have seen these pop up on several videos from major artists before. I wish them well, as they are very unique, high quality guitars.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that the bassist in Bedouin Soundclash uses an Italia bass on the road, got some serious thump out of it! :)
