Wait til you hear for yourself what they sound like. Don't take what anyone says on the internet as gospel!
Sweeeeet Rick though, they're fierce rare.

    Oh... the ironing!

    Thanks Fish-head,

I forgot to mention that the existing pickups and wiring dont work at all (at the moment) - part of the "damage" mentioned above:( . I will try to fix them first, but if i have no joy, i will be replacing the lot. I will be building a replacement pickguard and I was also considering building a second pickguard and having it prewired with a seperate set of pups to vary the sound a bit, so any suggestions are welcome.

You are (of course) correct about it being a very rare guitar! It has taken over six months of searching on ebay to eventually find one!

One last thing, I am also looking for any advice on where to source a replacement tuner as one of the existing ones is broken (at the "D" string). ill post a pic of the damaged one at the weekend.
