I dont like that McDonalds put mustard on their burgers. Much prefer the sauce on a culcie supermacs burger (none of that ketchup stuff)

so you like the culchie secret sauce eh?

tbh the best topping a burger can have (as well as the veggie stuff), sauce wise is ketchup + mustard + mayo all mixed together. yummy

It has it's own forum because it's great. A little honey mustard in a shepard's pie is magic and it's great on sandwiches with a little meat.

I have inside information that the magic supermacs culchie sauce is half thousand island and half mayo mixed together.

With fresh onions on a hot chesse burger its yum. One of the good things bout being a culchie.

When I ask for a burger in dublin with the culchie sauce (I dont call it that though I call it Burger sauce) i always get a sigh and a cold burger that was made bout half an hour earlier.

Either you get it or you don't.

There's 6 Supermacs in Dublin. You don't get the sauce in these?

Cazzy - if you are talking about Supermacs sauces...Burger sauce that you get on a Mighty Mac or Burger does not have mustard in it.Burger sauce is made of thousand island dressing alright.
However a Smokey Bacon burger's sauce does have mustard in it. McDonalds do use mustard on their regular and cheese burgers alright.

Nope - its not the country. Apparently all the dubs were coming in asking for their burgers with ketchup (and probably mustard if it was all ye guys) so Pat made an executive decision to make dublin burgers with ketchup and keep the culchie burgers with the culchie sauce.

Yeah Heuston has one and they decided to go with the ketchup even though Heuston would have a very high level of culchie traffic.
was so disappointed when I found that out.

I went into a supermacs down the country ONCE,I ordered and the girl said, that'll be eight minutes. Needless to say I have never darkened their door again, eight minutes for a burger indeed, mustard or no.

I dont have the aquired taste for mustard but I do understand why some people would take interest in a sauce/food. I am addicted to porridge, no joke! CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT. Bought a book on it n' all today.

Tis a bit wierd right enough, but mustard rawks.

Bacon sambos wouldn't be bacon sambos without it.

I would have thought it was because people like mustard.

Personally, a few chunks of roasted chorizo sausage with a creamy Frecnh dijon or honey dijon mustard is probably one of my favorite things in the universe.
