Where would you love to skirmish?

Ok, i completely ripped this thread idea off from arnies, but i thought it'd be interesting to see boardsies thoughts...

if you could pick anywhere you wanted to skirmish, where would it be?

Schools seem to pop up a lot on the thread at arnie's, and i think i'd agree with that, they just seem to have a very cool layout for skirmish'ing, also my college (DIT Kevin street) would be extra cool, it's two buildings, with 3/4 floors each, a gym, basement, plenty of stairwells, a bridge between the two buildings, secret stairwells that very few people know about, an auditorium with balcony and plenty of rooms/offices etc...

Don't forget the snackery, shooting from one side to the other and also down onto the canteen;)

Phoenix Park/The Zoo/Aras an Uachtarain could make a great location for a two or three day/night event I think. Loads of space, and mucking around in the Zoo (without all the animals of course) would be a laugh.

ERU or ARW training camp would be cool also.

A huge scenario like Croke Park with 50 "terrorists" holding the stadium and 50 counter-terrorists have to take it. 500fps+ sniper rifles are allowed. :D

Everywhere is accessible, including the roof rigging, the seats and all internals.

ERU or ARW training camp would be cool also.

Gardai are only building their tactical range ATM and the ARW one is very like HRTA. So not as exciting as you would think.

Fort Davis in Cork is where the Army (and ARW from time to time) do urban combat exercises, would be an airsofters wet dream. They even do amphibious assaults with the Navy.

I was gonna suggest that. I've heard about that place a lot from some mates that have been down there for fibua.
I'd love to have a massive game in a aircraft graveyard. There's a few apartment buildings and hotels I had the plans for in the past that I looked at and thought "That would be an interesting takedown". Some massive and some small but almost all of them give so advantage much to defending parties.
I have a load of them in my head that I've thought about in the past that I can't remember right now! Though the aircraft graveyard would probably be my number one.

That and the huge empty old Smyths Toys building across the road from my place that went up for lease last month that I would love to take and turn into a cqb center and shop. (The Garda barracks is across the road so they can train for free as a promo!)

An Island ... preferably one like Alcatraz or Devils Island. Something with a good mix of buildings above and below ground, woodland, plains, scrub and rocky terrain. Maybe a 'Nam style POW camp.

    Alcatraz would definitely be fun.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,397 ✭✭✭Evolute

Also another choice id like to put down is bray head because the terrain up there is deadly a few buildings lots of trees nice hills with a decent incline

Although an aircraft grave yard would be pretty sweet too

Tallaght whats wrong with tallaght ! i was a security supervisor in the square for years ,its got some great CQB and midrange combat possiblitys ,we used to use springer pistols on nights to break the boredom ,multible levels with multible access points ,also the incomplete tallaght stadium looks a good site ,would be easy to rent, as the site isnt making any money and no work going on ,or Lord Masseys on the same mountain as the Hell Fire club

Pffft... power stions are so lame what your really want is a nuclear missile base with 45,000 sqr feet or playing area below ground. Its a bit more expensive then 25 though but at least its only a once off of €1.5 mil ;)
