I'm thinking of moving to Clondalkin but I don't know the area at all. What's it like? Are there nicer parts/parts to avoid? Is the public transport any good out there?

    Thanks

I've lived in clondalkin for the last 20 years and like it. I am currently looking to buy my own place around the village.

Like most places its got nice parts and some not so nice parts. The village have pretty much everything you want and liffey valley is only a few minutes drive from the village. The public transport isn't too bad, the luas covers some of it and there is a train that runs to Hueston also. I think there are 5 or 6 differant bua routes into town.
