    hi guys
i recently tried to install ms office for mac on my 6 month old macbook
it installed successfully, however, im gettin an error message each time i open any one of the office components, word, ppt, excel and watever else.
its something about not being able to find the framework libarary
i can click ok on the msgbox and work away as normal, but to be honest, id prefer to be 100% and not throw up this error msg.
any ideas wat it might be?
    thanks very much
    ed

What version of Office for Mac is it ? 2004 ?

If so the problem is an "undocumented feature" :D
You can read about it here where the fix is provided.

Neo office is even better. It's a optimised version of OpenOfice for the Mac. That is of little help to the OP though, seeing as he already has bought Word and that he just want to use it....

Run the MS Office Auto update app. This should fix the issue. (It has for me on more than one Mac)

PS: The update files are pretty big - usually over 50MB, so don't do it on dial-up...
