unsuccessfully Installed Windows Live Messenger on Windows Vista

    Hello
    Ive installed windows live messsenger unsuccessfully on a laptop with windows vista on it, not mine. i need to fix this before my mother returns home tomoro. Laptop is brand new. Does anyone know how I can do this? Please help. I cant find messenger in programs in order to remove it.

    why did you install it in the first place? its built into windows vista!

    if you unseccessfully installed it, it means that it didn't install, and probably because its already installed!

    were you signed in as an administrator?

    if you are try the following:

    In the notification area of the taskbar, right click the Messenger icon and then click Exit.
    On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Control Panel.
    Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.
    Double-click Windows Live Messenger.
    Click Yes.
