Is it possible to claim for getting a wisdom tooth out? Paid €125. It was in a dental practice. Am a little confused about what it says on the Med 2 form.

You complete Med1 which includes all medicial expenses visits to GP etc

You then complete Med 2 which must be completed by your dentist.

There is an excess of 125 deducted

    Thanks for the replies.

The dental practice sent me out a stamped Med 2 form. Do I need to send a P.60 with it? Is it to my local office?

You need to complete Med 1 and attach Med 2 along with your P60 (you'll have to wait until you receive your P60 next year probably Jan/Feb) you can include all medicial expenses doctors visits etc. You deduct 125 and the balance is taxed at 20% /41% depending on the tax rate you pay so there may not be a refund due to you

Collect the teeth, put them under your pillow. Best of luck.
