Skybox,Humax CI-5510 & FTA ?

    Hi!

    As everybody knows,
    if over ASTRA-2 satellite transponder/programming Channel list will be changed
    sky digibox does not need to be re-tuned.New PID's will be saved automatically ("behind scene")and there will be no visual changes on main TV list.

    As everybody knows,

    FTA boxes usually needs to be every time,when Channels are moved,
    to be re-tuned.Its not hard,end of the day,but needs extra hazzle.

    I discovered ,by mistake,that Humax CI 5510 or CRCI 5500 acting as Sky digiboxes - they keep channels in TV list,when ever Channels are moved (as lately True movies changed place) so Humax acting as Sky Digibox???

    Is there in market more FTA receivers,what can update Channels automatically,without manual tuning?
    How You call this option? OTA ?
    I know over Astra-1 satellite - can be used RAPS system.
    But RAPS does not work over ASTRA-2 (Only Astra-1 and Hotbird)
    Any help welcome!

    This would be a great feature. I'm guessing its acting on network information sent over the satellite but would love to know the exact process.

    It would be a nice added feature to Technomates to make the best better! :D

    No, I just have 2 of them, and think they're great (well, they're used in work too).

    Just amazing,
    How Humax can have this feature...?
    There is for sure more receivers ,what can do this behind auto scan ..
